I am surprised anyone could play the front nine at all after Kym Tolius set fire to the front nine.

I (Tony Bryant) spoke to Kym on the seventh, he told me that he had had a 6 on the first hole and then parred every hole after that.

Going out with 21  and coming in with 18 points Kym won the day with 39 points. The Firebrigade are just dousing the flames as we speak.

Conditions were good although a little soggy under foot. The sun was shinning and the birds were singing but looking at the scores a few people stuffed the day up, oh well there is always next week.

Peter Rowe hasn't worked out how to use the Gps yet, looking at his score I think he needs to. Chris Kay had had enough and spent the last five holes watching the Saints do a number on Hawthorn.

Anyway anyone who played in week one of the Bridgestone Driver Trophy will have a chance to win the Driver. You say to yourself I had a crap round, just ask Kymbo. Kym had probably one of his worst rounds of golf, just 29 points. Kym was sitting dead last for the first round of the Bridgestone Golf bag one year. From last to first, Kym shot an amazing round of 46/48 points and won the bag.
