Dave Kemp Wins Captains Trophy.
Dave Kemp, the quiet achiever. I (Tony Bryant) played with Dave on Saturday. Dave started off pretty poorly on Saturday with a 6 on the first, but slowly started to get it together. Concentrating on my own game, I thought I was going reasonably well and didn't pay much attention to Dave.
On the eighth hole Dave got on for 2 and had an uphill birdie putt from about 8 feet. Well he really botched it up. Not going passed once but 3 times coming off with a 6. Apparently Dave, 4 putts on any hole is a Jug of Beer, we are all still waiting. You would have thought his game was over then, but no, at the turn he was well placed with a 42.
On the 12 hole I asked Steve Mckenna how he was going, and he said that he had shot a 41 going out. That was the end of Steve, I put the kiss of death on him. He crashed and burned coming home with a 47 and was out of contention.
Zac Kingston for the second week in a row had a great round and was the leader in the club house with a net 65, but not for long as our group was the next in.

Everybody, Lindsay Jones is putting up a prize of a GPS valued at over $300 for next week. It would be great if everyone could turn up and support Lindsay's Competition. Details of the Competition will be explained on the Day.
