Brief Encounters! The Champ Wins! Conrad on the Downward Slide! Kenny Everret Joins the Club! Jarrod Saves Dougan’s Arse last Week, but Not This Week! and Who’s S Balter!
Well, while the Chief Editor is of gallivanting around Port Victoria drinking Cougar Bourbon and Bulmers, the stand in editor is back for a “Brief Encounter” with all his adoring followers. So watch out!
The Champ had an amazing score of 45 points to win the day by a clear 6 points. But wait, there is a protest, Colbolt has been detected and the club is waiting on a second positive drug test. I mean I don’t know where the Champ finds the time in between golf and horse racing. I mean the champ is not at his playing weight anymore, and if I was a horse with the Champ on my back I wouldn’t be too happy either. I played with him the day his horse won and did he tell me to back it, “NO”!
Runners up to the Champ with 39 points are S Balter and Brenton “The Lone Ranger”. Who is S Balter? I think he is the love child of Steve Belcher and Frankie Balter, at least that is what the Sunday Mail says anyway.
If you want comedy just buy the Sunday Mail and look at the new members that join our club each week. Last week K Everret joined. I think Kenny is dead but it’s good to hear from Kenny even if it is beyond the grave. I think the name was suppose to be Klaus Ebdrup but Kenny Everret is close enough.
Conrad Peters, what a day out last week posting 45 points also. Conrad had reached new heights climbing to the top of the tree. Normally it is a gentle slide downwards to the ground, not Conrad, I think he jumped! Conrad came crashing back to earth with a big thud! Drinking champagne one week sharing the cheep coolabah cask wine the next week.
Last week the Dougs thought he had the L Plate with 31 points, and he would have if one of the Rowland Sisters (Jarrod) hadn’t saved his bacon but not his week playing with Klaus and myself we were both reliefed when Tom had 32 points and no Jarrod Rowland. This week Tom I see you have gone out to six. Charity!
Dungeon Dwellers this week are A Grade Tom "the Golf Link Charity Guy" Dougan. In B Grade Steve "My game will come back soon I hope" Stott and in C Grade Conrad "The Jumper" Peters.
