The Dougs Comes From Nowhere! Rob Dale Walks the Course! Frankie On the Slide! Transvestites TakeOver the Golf Course! Rubber Man in Training for Rio! and Penny Pearce Wins the Captain's Trophy!

Tom Dougan is the Clubhouse Leader with the Mike Taylor Golf Bag. Tom's 71 off the stick didn't start out to well though. Playing in the early group Tom's first drive to the par 3 tenth, well, really, it was pathetic. It wasn't hard to beat the drive, Clarkey had him done, I had him done and unfortunately Penny just fell short by a metre. Tom's woes didn't stop there the ones were flowing and Tom was almost done and dusted, but you can never wright Tom off. Finishing up with a 38 off the back and a 33 off the front Tom leads the way in week one for the bag.

Rob Dale had too, when he got home, put his feet in a warm bowl of epsom salts. Yes, hard to believe RD walked the course. His playing partners  golf buggy was given away to some Transvestites. A bit unlucky Mike, I mean it's not as you get a buggy every week for the last five years. The walk must have done RD some good he posted 40 points to be placed second in the battle for the champs bag.

Matty, alias the "Rubber Man", is in training for Rio! And he hasn't even told us. Some investigation has produced the event that Matty is participating in. The Event is the "Push the Out of Control Buggy Down the Eighth and Run Like Crap and Avoid the Head On with the Tree" Event. I have never seen someone run so fast, I was 300 metres away and could feel the draft that Matty produced. You go for Gold Matty!

Frankie Balter is on the slide! Yes, fresh from winning the Summer Cup there is only one way for the Hungarian Gypsy. Down, Down to the cellar you go Frank. Two weeks with the L Plate lurking in the cellar with the likes of Jarrod Rowland and Steve Belcher. Only one way to look at it Frank, the only way is up.

Two weeks ago the Captain's Trophy was played and won. For awhile the Captain was going to win his own trophy! All sorts of scenario's were taking place. Give the trophy to second place, have a raffle run a chocolate wheel. Robbo put and end to the money making venture beating me on a count-back for the trophy. Then in comes the last group and in that last group Penny Pearce with 41 points knocked all the boys off their perch snatching the Captain's Trophy away from Robbo and claiming the Captain's Trophy for her own self. Penny Pearce is the first Female to win the Captain's Trophy in the Club's history. Well done Penny.

Walking down the 6th hole the playing group observed some young lads and what we thought was a blonde female hit off from the seventh. As club captain I went over to investigate the situation. As I got closer to the group this female I was looking at started to get uglier and uglier. Hairy legs full make up and lipstick I thought I was in a scene from "Pracilla Queen of the Desert." I said to the the group that the girl looked quite hot from a distance, how wrong was I. Should'ave gone to Spec Savers.

Those Transvestites were everywhere. I think there is a career out there for a counsellor. The Transvestites, were, as it turns out, A's,B's and C's from Old Scotch Football club, living it up before they embark on their footy season. The boys were very accommodating allowing us to play through and offering us a beer. Good luck with the season lads.

Klaus the Viking wins A Grade with 38 points, RD the walker wins B Grade with 40 points and DC5 the Birdie Man wins C Grade with 38 points and the birdie hole totaling about $50.

The Cellar Dwellars this week are Frankie with 31 points in A Grade. Steve Mckenna holds up B Grade with 28 points and Liz Dekoning holds up C Grade with 26 points.
